STILL LIVES

This new production is based on Still Life, Noel Coward’s play which was the original for David Lean’s film, Brief Encounter. In this version it is interwoven with scenes and characters from a later, less well known play, Quadrille, also by Noel Coward. The site of the Old Waiting Room has been unused for half a century, but for a century was a place of comings and goings for hundreds of thousands of Londoners.
